Accessibility Statement

Northern Forge Construction is committed to making our website usable by everyone, regardless of ability or technology. We design and develop with accessibility in mind so that homeowners across the Twin Cities can get the information and service they need without barriers.

Our standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide array of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive impairments.

What we've done

  • Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements (links, buttons, forms, menus) are reachable and operable with a keyboard.
  • Skip to content: A "skip to main content" link appears at the top of every page for screen reader and keyboard users.
  • Visible focus indicators: Buttons, links, and form fields show a clear green outline when focused.
  • Screen reader support: Pages use semantic HTML, ARIA labels on navigation and icon-only buttons, and descriptive alt text on meaningful images.
  • Form labels: Every form input has an associated visible label and the correct input type for assistive technology.
  • Color contrast: Body text and primary call-to-action buttons are designed to meet WCAG AA contrast ratios against their backgrounds.
  • Responsive design: The site reflows and remains usable at 200% zoom and on mobile screens down to 320 px wide.
  • Reduced motion: Animations are subtle and non-essential to understanding any content.

Known limitations

We're transparent about what we're still working on:

  • Some embedded third-party tools (the satellite estimate iframe, the before/after image sliders) inherit their own accessibility behavior from their providers. We've selected vendors with accessibility commitments, but we can't guarantee their experience.
  • PDF documents linked from the site (warranties, inspection reports) may not all be fully tagged for screen readers yet. If you need an accessible version of a specific document, contact us and we'll send you one within one business day.

How to reach us about accessibility

If you encounter a barrier on our site, or you'd like content in a more accessible format, please let us know. We want to fix it.

When you contact us, please describe the page you were on and the issue you ran into so we can reproduce and fix it. We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within two business days.

Alternative ways to do business with us

You do not need to use this website to work with Northern Forge Construction. Every service we offer. Scheduling an inspection, getting an estimate, asking a question, or filing an insurance claim. Is available by phone, text, or email. Luis personally reviews every request, regardless of how it comes in.

Ongoing work

This statement was last reviewed in May 2026. We test the site with keyboard navigation and screen readers as part of our regular updates, and we re-audit annually against the current WCAG standard.
