Twin Cities Storm Damage Roofing. Free Hail Damage Inspection.
I inspect every inch of the damage and document what your adjuster needs to see. You file the claim, and I meet your adjuster on-site as your contractor. If the approved scope leaves out documented damage, I put the supporting documentation in front of your carrier. Coverage and payment are your insurer's decision, and your deductible stays your responsibility. You don't have to figure this out alone, and you don't have to take the first number your insurance offers.
What Hail Damage Looks Like
Most homeowners can't spot hail damage from the ground. Here's what Luis looks for on every inspection.
This Is What Luis Sees, and Documents. On Every Storm Damage Inspection
Storm Jobs Get the Same Frost-Forged 21 Standard Process
Every storm replacement we do runs through the same 21-point Frost-Forged 21 Standard installation process. Insurance-funded work is where shortcuts are most common. Crews are rushing, jobs are stacking up, and corners get cut. Our standards don't change based on who's paying. The pipe boot still gets replaced. The ice-and-water shield still goes in the valley. The nails still go in the nailing zone.
Third-party certifications tell you the materials meet a standard. The Frost-Forged 21 Standard tells you the installation does too, and that's what actually determines whether your roof lasts 15 years or 30.
Our 7-Step Storm Damage Process
We handle the inspection, the documentation, and the construction. You file the claim and make the final decision.
Free Inspection
Luis inspects and documents all damage with photos. Roof, flashing, gutters, vents. You get a complete picture of what happened.
Claim Documentation
You file with your carrier. We give you the photo documentation and repair scope they ask for, laid out clearly.
Adjuster Meeting
Luis meets your adjuster on-site with our documentation. Having the contractor there makes a real difference in scope agreement.
Scope Agreement
We review the adjuster's scope to make sure nothing was missed, every damaged component should be in the payout.
Supplemental Documentation
If the approved scope leaves out documented damage, we put together the supporting documentation for your carrier to review. This is more common than most homeowners realize.
Materials Ordered
We order manufacturer-certified materials. GAF, Owens Corning, or CertainTeed depending on your roof and HOA requirements.
Installation & Warranty
The crew installs while Luis supervises on-site. You get a written workmanship warranty plus the manufacturer's material warranty.
Local Contractor vs. Storm Chaser
After a major storm, out-of-state storm chasers flood the area. Here's what to watch for.
| Northern Forge | Storm Chaser | |
|---|---|---|
| Who shows up | The owner + consistent local crew | Different crew each job, often from out of state |
| Warranty | Honored locally. Call Luis directly | Company may be gone next season |
| Documentation | Xactimate-ready, photo documented, adjuster meeting included | Varies widely |
| License | MN Licensed BC809688 | Often unlicensed in MN |
| After the job | Luis is 20 minutes away if anything comes up | Good luck finding them |

Schedule My Free InspectionStorm Damage Questions
Most homeowner's insurance policies cover hail damage. Whether your claim is approved depends on the age of your roof, your policy, and the quality of the documentation. Your insurer makes that call. We help you understand what to expect before you file.
Payouts depend on your policy and your carrier's decision. We attend the adjuster meeting as your contractor so the damage we documented is in front of them and nothing gets overlooked. Your deductible is yours to pay.
Weather-related claims (hail, wind) typically have less impact on premiums than at-fault claims. Ask your agent. We can also help you evaluate whether filing makes sense before you do.
Most policies require filing within 12 months of the storm date. Don't wait. Documentation quality decreases as damage is exposed to weather. Call us soon after the storm so we can document everything properly.
If there's active water intrusion, yes, and we can help arrange emergency tarping. Call (320) 523-6743 and we'll assess the situation quickly.
Yes. You are not required to use whoever your insurance company suggests. You have the right to choose a licensed local contractor. Don't let anyone pressure you otherwise.
We review the adjuster's scope and file a supplement if anything was missed or underpaid. This happens more often than homeowners realize. We know what to look for.
Document obvious damage with photos if safe to do so from the ground, then call us for a free inspection. Do not climb on the roof. Let Luis assess it safely with the right equipment.
